Actually seeing a doctor is extremely difficult. They have very poor co-ordination with other NHS facilities. They point-blank refuse to perform diagnostics requested by A&E.

  • Just co-operate with other healthcare professionals. Try to link your records with the NHS system. And just stop being obstructive when people ask you for help.

Very poor service haven't been able to see a doctor for a few years now. Never appointments available and the reception is far from helpful.

Okay I do agree some days you can’t get a appointment but more likely to get a doctors callback instead

Impossible to get an appointment unless you have time to try over and over again on the phones or can queue from 7.30am or have found the knack of beating others using the online booking system. The app sent to you to help with the booking only allows booking of serious life threatening conditions, which are listed for you. So if you don't knowingly fit these it doesn't work. Seeing a GP at this practice is very unusual. At best appointments, if achieved seem to be available by phone in the most part, when requiring a GP. Although all surgeries are likely to be experiencing difficulty recruiting enough GP's, this surgery would appear to be struggling more than most. Any enquires about the ratio of patients to GP's is responded to with reference to the additional non GP staff recently recruited including a pharmacist, paramedic, a physio and others who would appear to bridge the service that would have previously been provided directly by a GP.

  • More transparency and better communication to help patients understand the issues the surgery has. Perhaps admitting that this service is struggling with patient numbers ( reasons new patients still being accepted for example) and providing some ways improvements are planned by the Health Trust and surgery.

I have been trying everyday to get an appointment, there are never any appointments on Patient Access and when you phone you are queuing for an hour to be then cut off. The Surgery has really gone down in my opinion , the receptionists are rude and really don't care, their answer is call 111 or go to A&E. Dreadful service, not like the days when Dr Green and Dr Daily Snr were there, they actually cared about patients.

  • Employ more Doctors, give your receptionist customer care training. Publish your data on how many appointments really do get released everyday.

Can never get an appointment. Receptionists are snippy and don't seem to have a caring bone in their body. I've been ill for over two months but I know there is no point in even picking up the 'phone as I won't be able to get an appointment.

  • Provided appointments and help receptionists to be a little more empathetic. (This is coming from an ex Burnham Health Centre receptionist!)

I’ve given the above rating as you don’t even get a chance to go to the doctors surgery. Anything now I use 111, urgent care unit or to A&E. It’s places like this that put strain on the above departments because people have no option. I’ve got a series allergic problems with my eyes and I haven’t been able to get through even when I wake up to call dead on the time the phone lines open! You call at 8am by 8.10 there is a message to say all the appointments for today have gone. You can’t book in advance and the online patient access doesn’t work so it’s impossible they’ve all gone in 10 minutes. Unless they book one a day. Needs to be investigated

It is IMPOSSIBLE to get through to the reception and even more IMPOSSIBLE to book an appointment. Reception is always with the same answer that nothing can be done about anything. Going to A&E is the only option left with, and I feel it is totally unnecessary. The call handling queue is horrible, just wait on queue for hours and the call gets disconnected. Such a terrible experience every time, you need a doctor's help.

  • Better booking system. Better options to book an appointment More doctors to actually help the burnham patients

  • I was given a doctors note but I'm not feeling well I asked my partner to collect it but they wouldn't give it to them so feeling unwell I have had to walk up there to get the note myself which I think is not on
