I called into the Health centre and had blood tests. And a few days later I was asked to call the centre at 8am for a telephone apt with a doctor. I asked is it not possible for the doctor to call me as, and was told it was not possible. I called just before 8am and could not get through, and tried again 15 mins later and held for 50 mins and over £12 less in my pocket for the call. When I did get through was told I was too late, explained I was on the line for over 50 mins, and that did not matter. then was asked to try again tomorrow morning again at 8am. I think the front desk tell you one thing and the people answering the calls tell you another thing. The call cost us nearly half our food shopping for the week, I will not be phoning again tomorrow. Will call in. This only brings more people in the Surgery, and unhappy people.

Suggested improvements
You need a phone number which reduces costs if you cant answer all calls within 5 mins. You need doctors to call patients them self and not get Patients to phone in for telephone apts and then run up high phone bills for those who are sick, usually the older people. NO APTS ON PHONE UNLESS DOCTOR PHONES YOU. You need the front desk and the phone answers to work together and not separate, I been told one thing by the front desk then the phone people told me something else and told me I was not telling the truth. DR Jamel we are being told we are telling a lie not good enough.
