The Surgery is very well organised it puts Patient care as a priority at the top of the list. Dr Rashid has been my go to Doctor purely because she takes the time to explain and apply whatever treatment or procedures that suits or identifies with whatever is required. Cannot speak highly enough of Thank you hardly reflects the gratitude that myself and my Wife Fiona have for her !

After experiencing blood in my poo a few times, I rang for an appointment and got a telephone consultation within a week. The doctor called on time and referred me fro a colonoscopy. His prompt actions meant my cancer was caught early stages and with no need for chemo. I can't thank him enough!

Suggested improvements
Being slightly more proactive on informing me about medical exemption certificates - i only found out thanks to a local pharmacist whe I had to pay for a prescription for some of my ongoing medication.

Dr Rashid always goes above and beyond to help with my healthcare. Her lovely calm, friendly manner always puts me at ease and I never feel rushed. She is by far the best GP I've ever been to.

Always feel very looked after and cared for here. Reception staff always seem very patient helpful and professional. Dr Adhikari always seems to be prepared to go that little bit further if needed and out of his way to ensure o get the best help or treatment required. I m very grateful to be part of this surgery and it’s staff. Thank you all.

The telephone service will Sometimes hold me in the queue I get to number 1 it then rings and cuts off. This has happened twice now from what I can gather this has happened to others as well.

I waited about seven minutes on a Monday morning to speak to a receptionist to arrange an appointment for that morning with the gp of my choice. The receptionist was efficient and helpful and the go was informative and constructive. Since that initial appointment my gp had followed up with suggestions for further treatment and arranged for me to be seen at a pain clinic at a local hospital She has also booked me in to see her for further tests next week. The receptionist followed up a query on a prescription and arranged for a second one to be forwarded to a local pharmacy. Everyone was hugely efficient helpful and friendly - I couldn’t ask for more. I realise I am very fortunate to be a patient at Broad Lane Surgery.

The option to return a call to the gp - the only options are - 1. To make an appointment 2. Prescription queries 3. Blood test results My call was not any of these
