Impossible to get through on the phone.
The surgery is extremely old and does not appear to be clean.
People who answer the phone are frequently condescending and extremely rude. If you do not call at 8:30am you cannot get an appointment. Would expect a basic level of decency especially as a mental health patient. Every interaction is made to seem like the person on the phone is doing you a favour.
Removed the ability to order repeat prescriptions online. The alternative is to put a scrap of paper in the post box
Called whilst on holiday having forgotten to pack needles for my insulin. Had been without insulin for 2 days, spoke to a local gp practice and was told that my GP could email/fax an emergency script to the pharmacy near where I was staying on the mainland. Was met with"what to you expect us to do about it" by the receptionist and then told they don't send scripts outside of Bangor and I'm to sort it out myself. In the end with the help from the GP on holiday and the local pharmacy there I paid for the needles. It's not the fact I paid for them,it's the attitude of the receptionist and her couldn't care less response to someone who was clearly in need and extremely stressed. This practice has gone down since COVID and it's only getting worse
I have been trying to get an appointment with a doctor now for 3 weeks . The rules are I have to phone between 8.30 and 10am on a weekday for a non-emergency telephone triage appt. Once all appts are gone for that day I am to repeat the procedure the next day (and the next, and the next). I am unable to schedule an appointment nor will anyone take my details to get a phone call even within 2 weeks. Each time I phone and finally get to speak to a receptionist I’m told all telephone triage appts for the day have gone. Todays’was classic, I was phoning from 8.28am, after 103 failed calls I finally got to speak to a receptionist at 8.42am only to be told all telephone triage appts for today have gone (that’s 12 minutes from opening the lines at 8.30am). I was told I could go and stand at the window from 8.55 am and if there were any appointments left I would be given one (not today though as they’ve all gone). I work each day from 8.30 - 5.30. I have to get cover each time I need to phone the surgery, which isn’t always easy. As I work in a busy dental practice I am under no illusions as to how busy the practice can be however trying to get speaking to a GP is beyond ridiculous!
Absolute waste of time i work everyday between 8 and 10 so can't call to make a appointment so they just said I can't get seen to. The receptionist was extremely cheeky no need for it she has 1 job and that is to take app and notes for the doctors the least she could do is be nice to people instead of talking down to people.
Never see same dr twice.. plans made with one dr are disregarded completely by the next time by other drs and meds for my client end up messed completely!
