On the whole, all the staff are exceptional (but there have been the odd few I've not wanted to talk to again - reception/pharmacy). I've been registered at a few surgeries in the past but this one is far superior - over my time there I've seen most of the GPs and they're professional yet empathetic. 99% of the time my appointment has been late but it's hard to complain because I know that's only because the GPs are taking the time to talk to each patient as they should.

Dr Simkins has supported my disabled daughter over the last few years and the care she gives is totally exceptional. She address my daughter directly and makes her feel valued and important. Without her support our lives as carers would be much more difficult. A truly exceptional GP to whom we are really grateful

Medical staff are very professional and appear up-to-date in their clinical practice. They are prepared to give the time that is required in a consultation rather than what the clock dictates. Patients seem to appreciate this and I hear no complaints in the waiting room about waiting when previous appointments over run as I think patients realise that they will get the same treatment if necessary when it is their turn. I also appreciate the quick return of blood test results - at my mother's surgery in the North the wait can be weeks.

The fact that you can call one day and generally get an appointment for the next day is excellent. Happy to see any of the doctors as they are all excellent now in our view. Reception staff and those on the phone are nearly always helpful and patient. You do sometimes have to wait but I think that is mostly because the doctors/nurses take extra care and don't rush you unless they have to. More relaxing music rather than radio would be nice when having to wait! Hard to find a better surgery in our view as a family and certainly from speaking to people outside the area.

Waited over 30 minutes to be seen and then the appointment itself felt rushed and looked as if he didn't want to see me...
