It’s ran by a bunch of absolutely useless admin team. No wonder why other surgeries ran under this managment were previously closed. They don’t answer the phones and if they do they are rude. Places like this shouldn’t exist in the 21st century.

Suggested improvements
Change all your lazy reception team.

I telephoned today at 8am for an appointment to see the doctor. I eventually managed to speak to a male receptionist at 8.15am,. I told him that I had an acute pain all the way down my right leg and had had it for about a week but that it was getting worse and worse every day - that I could not sleep because of the pain - and that I had also lost 2 stone in weight over the past 3 months for no apparent reason etc. I asked for an appointment to see the doctor today - but was told that no appointments were available - which surprised me as I had been previously told that if I telephoned at 8am an appointment would be made for that day.

Suggested improvements
The male receptionist could have spoken louder and more clearly - and should have given me an appointment to see the doctor today.

We were queuing up to the front door when the receptionist decided to go out for a cigarette

I think the receptionists at this practice are very uncaring with a don't really care attitude, today I have rang 10 times can't get past the continues engaged tone,I when to thet centre still phoning whilst in front of reception and asked why are you not answering the phone ? her reply was "well it's ringing " .there was 3 patients sitting in the waiting area,.i work in a GP emergency assessment unit,to ignore the phones is not good practice,a phone call could potentially be someone's life line.this needs to be dealt will asap.its very rude to ignore a medical call,we don't take calls for bookings only,it could be a minor call regarding advice to something more serious.,I am very angry with this practice, year after year it's still the same..

I have been on the phone for 1hr 15 minutes to try and get an appointment, my call not answered until I gave up. In the past I have been at reception waiting to checking as self checking was not working, I stood there for about 5minutes whilst receptionists chatted away(the main one chatting was the new receptionist). I also have tried calling on numerous occasions to try and cancel appointments but as usual call not answered, then I get a text telling me I've failed to attend an appointment that could have gone to someone else, yes but if you had answered your phone we would not be in this dilemma. Something needs to be done urgently...what is the point of being registered at a surgery when getting an appointment is a nightmare. Sort it out!!
