This has been my local practice for over 25 years. Throughout this time they have built up the service from very good to outstanding. This has been achieved by reviewing every aspect of what is provided and improving each feature to match local needs. It is led by a keen medical team, supported by nursing, admin and other personnel. The atmosphere is always friendly and proactive towards patients, and this leads to a reciprocal response. We know who "our" Doctor is, but we are confident seeing others, including the registrars on GP training programmes. This practice has supported me safely through recurrent Lymphoma. My wife and I have four daughters, one disabled, all registered with this practice, and well looked after when needed. This is an exceptionally good Health Centre.

Dear Dr. Miller, I cannot see that I need to come to the surgery to ask 2 questions: 1. Can I have a blood test to check my Vitamin B12 and D levels? 2. Would you consider prescribing Low Dose Naltrexone to see if my symptoms improve? I waited 4 hours for your call only to miss it because I was phoning your practice at the same time. I understand that you are very busy, but to keep someone on a phone vigil for that time seems inconsiderate. A text advising a more suitable time would have been adequate. Kind regards, Peter Davey

I have always had great care, but the only thing I think could be improved is the system of making an appointment. You are required to telephone on the day after 8.30am, the line is often engaged, and then by the time you get through all the appointments have been taken. It is not possible to book in advance. I now book online, but if you don't have internet access this is a problem.

Me and my family have been going to this practice for 9 years, I can honestly say that you get the best care and from the nicest doctors. The reception staff are also really helpful and friendly which is unusual compared to other surgeries that I know through family and friends. I feel in safe hands and the doctors are always attentive and thorough. Thank you for always being so wonderful
