Basically the care Prof Walton gave my daughter from the initial meeting until sign off, changed Georgia's life. Her skin issues (Severe Acne Grade 10) had caused her such pain both mentally and physically and after trying every possible treatment both on the market and with our local GP, we found Spire and this outstanding doctor. We had complete faith that this was the best treatment and care and we were correct. Our whole experience with Spire was professional and confident. Shernaz Walton gave Georgia back her smile and after 6 months of careful monitored treatment /meds she has been able to live her life happily rather than in pain from sore cracked skin. Dr Walton is an absolutely amazing Dermatologist, she has completely transformed my life. I was going demented with severe eczema all over my body and the Doctor I saw first just gave me a steroid cream and a moisturiser which had little to no effect. By the time I saw Dr Walton I wasn't sleeping my skin was incredibly itchy, cracked and bleeding. She was so patient with me and reassuring and gave me a course of steroids, bath oil, steroid cream and moisturiser. I cannot thank her enough, I went to see her privately on the recomendation of my friend from Church. I am so happy to be under her care, she has given me my life back. I couldn't sleep due to the itching and pain, my skin went from being angry and red raw and itchy to just slightly pink. Dr Walton started me on Methotrexate and transferred me to see her on the NHS. When I experienced a flare up, i rang her secretary to ask for an increase in my Methotrexate and was seen in clinic very quickly, within a few days and had my meds increased. I cannot recommend Dr Walton highly enough, she is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, approachable and thorough. She took time to explain my treatment plan and the importance of using the treatment correctly. I was so desperate and didn't for one minute imagine that I would get such amazing care and such an improvement in my eczema, thank you so much, a very relieved and happy Lois

I first saw Professor Walton at Spire at Hull Hesslewoid and she prescribed several different medications to try to alleviate my psoriasis which eventually worked .Unfortunately I could not tolerate the Methotrexate and saw her again at the Beverley clinic and she persevered until she found the right treatment for me . She is a very good dermatologist and always treated me with dignity and respect and I would recommend her to anyone with psoriasis

I saw Professor Walton in Beverley in October 2023. She diagnosed a Basal Cell Carcinoma and removed the cells immediately. At a follow-up appointment 2 months later she confirmed that the problem cells removed. I had to wait nearly 6 months to see her following the GP referral but once I had the appointment with her I was treated without delay.
