Miss Rebecca Lewis is a consultant oncoplastic breast surgeon with extensive experience in breast cancer diagnosis and surgical management, both using breast conservation and breast reconstruction techniques. Miss Lewis graduated from King’s College, London in 2005. She achieved a first class honours degree in anatomy as part of her undergraduate training. Miss Lewis completed her higher training in general and oncoplastic breast surgery in various units around London, achieving her certificate of completion of training (CCT) whilst at Imperial College London. She has also travelled to the United States to complete several observerships in the advanced treatment of breast cancer (The Simpson Smith Travelling Fellowship) . Before taking up her post as a consultant oncoplastic breast surgeon at Kingston NHS Foundation Hospital, she undertook a prestigious oncoplastic fellowship in advanced oncoplastic breast surgical technique at The Royal Marsden Hospital, London. Miss Lewis achieved her Postgraduate Diploma in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery from the University of East Anglia in 2021. She has an active interest in surgical research and has published widely in peer reviewed journals. Her work has been presented at multiple national and international conferences. She has been a finalist for several national surgical prizes. Miss Lewis regularly attends national conferences and courses to ensure her knowledge is current. She is the unit educational lead and is involved in the training of future surgeons, both at Kingston Hospital and on the faculty of national courses.
