Reviews
With a breast cancer diagnosis most of us have the busiest of brains full of questions & anxieties. Having recently gone through this with my own daughter I am less anxious , more curious. Dr Karat is exactly the person I needed to see. She was extremely thorough in her “run through” of my surgical options, showing me my scans in detail, describing what was there & the effects it will have. She showed me various implants & drains & meshes, whilst clearly explaining what & why I would have them. The upcoming procedure Dr Karat gave me precise expectations, sharing the negatives & positive outcomes in a clear, calm manner. I was given plenty of time to ask questions & was given clear answers. I feel I am extremely fortunate to be under her care. She made me feel positive, comfortable and unique ( not just another breast cancer patient ). The NHS are under extreme pressure but at no point was I rushed or moved along. Thank you Dr Karat for your care so far.
I was unfortunately diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2020 but was so lucky to be under the care of Isabella Karat . She was so kind in explaining all the procedures I would be going through which made such a difference as it is such a frightening experience, but having things explained and each step taken made me feel very confident in the ongoing procedure. She has such a lovely way of making you feel special and I loved her down to earth approach which made it very easy to ask anything you may be worrying about. I have since had all my treatments which included surgery, chemo and radiotherapy which all happened during lockdown and my follow up mammograms and happily back to my normal life. Thank you again to Isabella and her lovely team.
I was diagnosed with grade 3 breast cancer in
September 20 which was a very frightening and upsetting thing to be told. However I was extremely lucky to be under the care of Isabella Karat. Who explained the next procedure that would be happening which was an op and then tests for next procedure which for me was 6 rounds of chemo followed by radiotherapy. This all happened during the first lockdown and hearing of so many people who couldn’t have their treatment I was so lucky to be able to have mine and to date having just received my mammogram results everything is fine.
I will be forever grateful for the care Isabella showed me , it is also comforting to know that I can contact her and the department if I have any worries about anything.
Thank you again.
Lovely personality.
Put me totally at ease with my condition
I have total faith in Mrs Karat. Her kind and caring manner makes me feel I am listened too. Her manner is always professional and I have full confidence in her skill and knowledge. I could not be in safer hands.
