Mr. Toumi listened carefully to my life experience of dieting and to my complex medical history. To my utter amazement he agreed that gastric revision surgery would be of great benefit to my future health and a date was agreed between us. He was always quick to answer any questions by email no matter how bizarre they may have seemed and sorted out any problems as they arose. His visit before surgery put my nerves at ease with his gentle humour and empathy. Visiting him after the surgery he was always kind, thoughtful, thorough and nicely informative about how I could improve my recovery as well as looking to the future. After been referred via NHS fertility program for gastric bypass and spending 4 years through the process then been told I had to wait another 2 years, I was aware I wasn’t getting any younger and really wanted best chance at starting my own family & getting my PCOS under control… I reached out to Mr Toumi at the spire on the 17th of August I told him my story and I felt a genuine care and want to help from him, by the 26th of September I was in having my surgery. Now 7 weeks on from surgery I feel great I’ve lost over 3 stone in weight, I’ve had my first real period in years and life just feels much more under control now. Any one on the fence about the surgery or the surgeon, please put your trust in Mr Toumi he is truly amazing at what he does!! And coming from someone who suffers with white coat syndrome the whole team couldn’t have done more to put me at ease and make the whole process relaxed and calm. Again I will never be able to thank Mr Toumi enough for helping me take control of my life again! Thank you so so much you are an amazing person xxx

I had my first appointment on the 19th of September which dr toumi explained the procedure I felt at ease with dr toumi he explained he a cancellation in 2 weeks time which I was extremely happy to have and start my journey on weight loss. I had my 7 week appointment where dr toumi weighed me and checked my scars and advised me how to get more protein in my diet.

I had a gastric sleeve done by Mr Toumi 9 weeks ago and have to say how happy I am with everything. I first met him on the morning of my surgery day and he came across so friendly and caring and I instantly felt at ease. He listened to me and answered any questions I had. After surgery he came to see me and also the morning after. I was also so happy to get a phone call from him a few days after getting home, so he could answer any questions I had and reassured me that I was doing well and even convinced me to go out for a walk which made me feel so much better. I had my 6 week check up appointment with Mr Toumi a few weeks ago and he was happy with the progress I had made so far and gave me tips on getting my protein up. He also checked my incisions which I have to add I am very happy with as some are really tiny, they won’t be very noticeable soon. One thing that has stuck in my mind is, he told me I can email, ring or see him any time if I have any concerns and I thought that was amazing. Overall I could not be happier with everything. I’m 9 weeks in and almost 3 stone down.
