I am 6 weeks post gastric sleeve and have had 100% considerate and quality care from Mr Toumi and the team at Spire Washington. Recovery has been perfect! From the first consultation Mr Toumi has patiently answered every question with honesty and compassion. He is really invested in his patients and called or emailed every single day for the first 10 days post-op to see how I was doing and has been on the end of an email every day since. I would 100% recommend MrToumi, the aftercare is as good as promised and no question is too silly for him. It is a life changing decision to have weight loss surgery but I am so glad I chose Mr Toumi as he is a safe and caring surgeon and I know I have support for as long as I need it from him and his team. I am currently in week three of my vertical sleeve gastrectomy and cannot find any sort of fault with the treatment given to me by Mr Toumi and his team. This man is an absolute boon to Spire Washington and from the first consultation to lying down on that operation table he has been attentive, considerate and incredibly understanding, 15 minutes before my operation he came into my room just to ask how I was doing, when I mentioned I was feeling anxious he instantly took a seat and went through all of my worries with me and was only happy to finish preperation once my anxiousness was gone. In the weeks leading up to and after my surgery he has never been more than an email away, often replying within the hour even when he was working! No question is too small or silly for him to answer and he will always make sure you understand all of the options and alternatives available to you before you commit to anything. As part of the package you are given time to discuss your procedure with himself, and both a nutritionist and psychologist of his choosing with specialised experience with weight-loss surgery, Dawn and Dr. Moffet were both completely attentive and invested in my choices and reasoning for selecting a VSG and all three agreed that it was the best option for me. Weight-loss surgery is not an easy way out like many claim it is; I just wish I had the oppurtunity to do it years ago

I would highly recommend Mr Toumi for anyone looking to have weight loss surgery. Mr Toumi has been professional and supportive throughout my whole experience and has been very approachable. I am able to contact him over the phone and email and get a timely response every time. He has given advise and support along the way and when I experienced difficultly with stopping smoking he remained free from judgement and offered further support to get me to where I need to be to enable me to go ahead with the surgery safely.
