Dr Chhabra was an extremely approachable doctor. I felt very comfortable talking to him and I could see that he was listening to me. He inspired confidence in me that he was dealing with my medical condition in an excellent way and I was extremely happy with his explanations, recommendations and treatment of my ailment. I would be very happy to see Dr Chhabra again should I unfortunately need to. A very competent and efficient Doctor.

I had to take my Husband into Basildon's A&E on Boxing Day evening (2016) as he had become quite ill with stomach/stoma problems - and consequently we were very worried. We were seen by Dr Vivek Chhabra who patiently listened to my husband's "story" of his illness - and realised that as my husband had only had the stoma operation done a few months ago - we were quite new to all its pitfalls should illness strike, and that we would need treatment from someone who specialises in this. The Doctor quickly lined up the right sort of tests that would be needed for a specialist to see - and this helped to ensure that my husband was given the initial treatment quite (relatively) quickly. Even though Dr Chhabra was very busy (Boxing day night!) - he was kind enough to check up on my husbands progress a few hours later, and even ensured that we were sitting in the right place for the other tests he had organised for us (xray). We are both grateful to him for his very caring manner and for looking after us so well ! As an update - Dr Chhabra was right - it was serious enough for my husband to be admitted, and although my husband is still in the hospital (on drips etc)- (and likely to be there over the New Year) - he is now in good hands and receiving good care. So thank you very much Doctor ! (29/12/2016)
