I went to get results from my second surgery for breast cancer. Mr Ahmed was very caring, put me at ease and was happy that the surgery had gone well and they had managed to get all the cancer out.

I had a consultation with Mr. Farid Ahmed at the end of January in order to discuss and agree a treatment plan for DCIS in one breast. Mr. Ahmed was very friendly and approachable, highly informative and willing to answer all my questions at length. He was also very reassuring and I came out of the meeting feeling confident and calm about the impending operation (full mastectomy of one breast). I do not yet know whether he will be the surgeon conducting the operation but if so, will post further feedback after the procedure.

Mr Ahmed is a very professional, caring and understanding consultant and took time to talk things through and answer my questions. He is very approachable and easy to talk to. I was very impressed and I would highly recommend him. I saw him at the Breast Clinic at Wycombe Hospital (I put General Practice as there is no section for Breast Clinic in the Specialty section).

My Partner was diagnosed with breast cancer which is a bombshell in anybody's life, but Mr Ahmed and Mr Cunnick could not be praised enough very reassuring explained everything totally, what was going to be carried out the after effects and made all so easy to cope with, considering the volume of patients they deal with they had all the time to cover all our questions no matter how silly the may have seemed but both of them worked in tandem, which made my partner relaxed and the ordeal and recovery was cruised through no fear only reassurance and confidence, what a credit to the Hospital with all the bad press about the NHS is unfounded, and the nurses and back up staff are extemporary, customer care of the top quality, may not seem much but even going in and out of the visits for check ups the people that we came in contact with even in the corridors always a smile and acknowledgement and a cheery how are you, so proud and full of admiration of the staff and surgeons, as I say top top marks wonderful.
