Dr Ellis put me at ease as soon as I entered his room, I was feeling uneasy as I am an NHS patient. I have had a problem with my right knee for some years after playing with my grandson as a toddler on the living room floor, the treatment offered to me by Mr Ellis was explained in detail and I chose to go ahead with an injection into the knee. Within 3 weeks I had a second appointment and was treated with such care my injection was pain free and Mr Ellis made me feel like a private patient I can't speak highly enough of him, I cannot think of anything I could improve about the care I received.

I had my first knee replacement in 2021, if wasn’t as successful as I had hoped, my knee cap had moved, I found this out 18months later. However, I knew I needed my other knee replaced. Mr Ellis was very supportive with my concerns on my second knee replacement and made me feel a lot more confident to go a head with the operation. Post operation, what a difference from the first one ,I knew straight away that the operation was a success, I could walk, go to the bathroom and do mild excercises. The ease of getting in a car was easier than the first time. I was determined to follow all the instructions he gave me. I am only 2 weeks post op and feel very pleased that I went ahead with op

Mr Ellis made me feel relaxed immediately, he is easy to communicate with and a great listener. He immediately confirmed my thoughts regarding my knee problem and put forward all the different options open to me. I chose the cortisone injection to both knees and on the day of the injections I was in and out of his surgery in about 10 pain free minutes. I walked out of the surgery pain free and to date still pain free and able to play a full round of pain free Golf. Thankyou!

Mr Ellis is very relatable. He takes time to listen and answer questions in a very empathetic way. He told me the injections wouldn't hurt and they didn't. I believe he is very experienced and I totally trust his judgement.
