In October 2024 Mr Masterson performed a hip operation on my right leg, he & the team were very kind, caring & professional before and after the procedure. Yesterday I saw him for a review and he made it clear that my left side was in need of the same procedure. I’m really glad that this major operation is in his more than capable hands. Of course I’m not looking forward to the surgery but knowing that it’s with him & the great team at the Spire I’m reasonably confident & calm. Olga Edwards

I had very good treatment from Mr Masterson when he did my right knee. I am now on his list for the left knee. Very pleased with the treatment and the results. It is now 4 months since the operation and my right knee is almost perfect.

He was my Consultant but the op was done by Mr Wong. No Consultant came to see me after the op, even though the staff new I had concerns. After the op, no Consultant came to see me even though I wanted to ask questions on how things went, and tell them how I was feeling, but unless you just said I’m alright and let them move on their happy.They new I had questions so walked right by me on the day of discharging.

Absolutely fantastic care from beginning to end. Efficient and easy to talk to. He explains everything clearly and performed a successful total hip replacement. (This was after it being pinned the previous year after an accident abroad). I am so happy with the result Thank you.
