I have facial, neck and tongue cancer and was referred to Mr Mattine some years ago after my cancer had progressed to my face. He is an excellent surgeon, he always listens to your concerns, is genuinely considerate of your well being and ensures you fully understand what is happening, why and what the options are. My wife attends with me and he ensures she is clear about what’s happening. What I really like is that even though I cannot speak he always speak to me and not like many people speaks to my wife as if I am incapable, he understands that I am still a person who needs support and reassurance. I honestly believe that without him and my other excellent surgeon I wouldn’t be alive today and I will forever be grateful to him.
