Frum the initial personal contact with Mr. Middleton( @ St Joseph hospital to the ultimate 'phone call six week after the operation (01/02/22) I found him easy to talk to . During my hospital visit there were unfortunately 'incidents' over which we had no control. These were easily resolved with his ability to discuss all issues in a professional and lay person way. Early days yet but I have no reservation in thanking all those involved in my care under what were 'circumstances' beyond our control. So thank you all David Thomas.

I saw Mr Middleton down at Hayle Hospital. He is a very nice person and explained everything I needed to know about a hip replacement operation in a very friendly manner. When I do have the operation, I know I can trust Mr Middleton and I have no worries at all. The nurse is very friendly and helpful as well. I was feeling nervous before I went to my appointment, but I didn’t need to be nervous at all. Many thanks to Mr Middleton and the Nurse for their help and kindness.

Telephone follow-up appointment following bilateral hip injections to discover cause of hip pain. Mr Middleton suggested injections into tendons, along with MRI scan, for further investigation. I was given the opportunity to ask questions, but didn't need to as his explanations regarding ongoing treatment were so good. Extremely pleasant man, felt at ease with him and 100% confident to be in his care. Injections were given by Adam assisted by two ladies, obviously a very happy & delightful team.

Referred by my GP to Mr Middleton following fall from my horse and subsequent X-ray which showed significant arthritic damage to right hip. This is causing continuous pain and affecting my daily activities. Mr Middleton was very pleasant, listened to me attentively and understood the problems I am experiencing. He explained the damage caused to my hip by arthritis and gave me details of the options open to me. After explaining thoroughly all aspects of the various procedures, I opted to go for total hip replacement. I am confident in the decision made. The nurse who greeted me in the unit and undertook weight/height etc, could not have been nicer. Very impressed with my first visit to St Michael's Hospital and I am looking forward to the time when the hip replacement surgery can take place,

Mr Middleton instantly puts you at ease. He explains everything thoroughly before and post surgery. He is also keen to explain any possible negative aspects of surgery - if any. He is prompt with post-op appointments and happy to address any concerns that may arise before seeing him in clinic.
