During all consultations with Mr Norton, he was approachable and explained all symptoms, diagnosis and courses of action at length. Models/examples of the various remedial joints were also very helpful at this stage. I received Hip Injections in both my Hips (starting in 2021) before my first Hip Resurfacing in January 2024. On all occasions Mr Norton and his team were courteous and highly professional. Especially appreciated were the pre-procedure visits by Mr Norton and the Anaesthetist putting my Pre-Opp mind at rest. Aftercare was to an equally high standard. Thank you all Nursing Staff and Physiotherapy Department.

On my first consultation with Mr Norton, I found him easy to talk too, and he put me at ease while I was talking to him. I found he listened to me. I have every confidence in him performing my hip operation. I know I will be in safe hands as he is well qualified and very experienced.

At my initial consultation with Mr. Norton he was extremely informative and friendly. I was somewhat anxious, but his gentle and kind manner soon put me at ease, and I was confident that I was in the capable hands of a true professional. The surgery went well. My grateful thanks to Mr. Norton and his team for the care provided. My thanks also go to the wonderful and attentive nursing staff amd physiotherapists, all of whom were very caring and pleasant. My recovery is progressing well, and it is wonderful to be free of pain. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr, Norton following my excellent treatment at the Duchy Hospital.

The whole. experience was good. I would have liked more advice on when and if I could stop using my crutches before the end of the six week period.I felt safe without them but not sure if this advisable to do so.

I was waiting a long time for this operation, due to unforeseen circumstances. NHS got in touch with me to ask if I would go to any other hospital to speed up the waiting time. I chose not to do this as Mr Norton did my other hip replacement 9 year's ago and as I have Coxa vara profunda I was so pleased with the results of that hip replacement I wanted to stay on Mr Norton's list. on this operation I was allergic to the skin glue which caused problems and Mr Norton has seen me in Clinic for 3 consecutive weeks after surgery, changing my dressing and making sure that an infection did not go into my joint. He was professional and courteous.
