I was sick of dieting and still being left with a sticky out tummy no matter what I did! I went to see Doctor Baker, he explained all the different options available to me and together we decided that I should do a tummy tuck and liposuction in three places (both flanks and the upper abdomen)
The operation went very well indeed and Dr Baker was extremely kind and patient with me. Unfortunately I did get an infection a few weeks after the surgery but Dr Baker gave me brilliant aftercare, so it soon cleared up.
I am super happy with the results now, I have dropped dress size from 16/14 to a 12 depending on the brand.
I feel so much more confident now and wish I had done this sooner. I recommend Dr Baker 100% as a trustworthy and kind surgeon.

Had carpal tunnel done on Wednesday. No pain at all during procedure and now post op. Mr Baker was very through and explained everything.

I would highly recommend Mr Richard Baker who looked after me at the Princes Margaret Hospital in Windsor when I felt a lump on the side of my nose. Having had extensive radiation and surgery as a child I become worried what the lump might in fact be and how it could be removed with minimal scarring . Well Mr Baker exceeded my expectations in not only identifying the correct treatment he also removed the lump so successfully that he managed to leave me with no scar at all. The lump turned out to be sebaceous hyperplasia and throughout the treatment from consultation through surgery and to final check up stage I felt confident I had choose. The correct surgeon and would be certainly recommending Mr Richard Baker and would absolutely consult with him again should I have any worries in the future. I have recently been treated by Mr Baker at the Thames Valley Hospital, Stoke Poges for carpal tunnel syndrome. My appointments with Mr Baker were always punctual and I was given the time I needed to fully discuss my condition and any concerns. I subsequently had surgery under a local anaesthetic and had absolute confidence in
Mr Baker and his team, who put me at ease with their professionalism and some light hearted conversation. I am delighted with the results of the operation and would have no hesitation in undergoing the procedure on my other hand, should it be necessary.

Mr Richard Baker is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon based in Berkshire and London. He specialises in cosmetic surgery, hand & wrist surgery and paediatric plastic surgery.
In 2000 Mr Baker qualified as a Doctor after completing his medical studies at Cambridge University. He began his training in plastic surgery in 2003 at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital before undertaking a research degree in scarring of the skin at Mount Vernon Hospital for which he won several prizes. He continued his training at some of the most prestigious departments on the London rotation including the Queen Victoria, East Grinstead, the Royal Free and Broomfield. He completed his Training Interface Group Fellowship in Reconstructive Cosmetic Surgery in Leicester in 2014. Mr Baker also visited prestigious international units such as E’Da Hospital in Taiwan, the Kleinert Institute in Louisville and Santander in Spain.
Mr Baker published numerous scientific publications in highly respected peer-reviewed international plastic surgery journals, he wrote a book on Plastic Surgery Survival Guide to Trauma and contributed to a book chapter on Brow Lifts and also published journal articles on scarring and cosmetic surgery.
