Dr Dubey removed a tumour from my spinal cord, he put me at ease at a time when I was scared stiff, he was very approachable and fully explained everything.

I have found Mr Dubey to be approachable, patient and kind.He has always taken time to explain what is a very complicated operation to me.Answering my questions and making sure I was aware of the procedure and the outcome in a non patronizing way. In short a very professional, and likeable gentleman

Mr Dubey took the time to ask questions about my health over the last year since my last consultation. He also asked me about my general health which was great. He was also interested in my ambition to join the Navy and gave me advice on how to approach my condition with the medical people in the Navy recruitment process and gave me confidence that I can have a great life even though I have something in my head. Really came out of it feeling much better about my future.

Both of my hands had become numb and so using them to do anything was becoming increasingly difficult and was making me feel very depressed. I was therefore very happy when Mr Dubey said that he would carry out an operation for C3/4 ACDF and plate, to relieve the C3/4 canal stenosis (caused by disc prolapse) that had been diagnosed. I had my operation in the morning and I stayed in the hospital overnight and had to wear a collar for 6 weeks. Although Mr Dubey said that he would carry out the operation to prevent things getting worse, for instance my balance could start to be affected, I am very pleased that since the operation there has been some improvement in my hands, enabling me to do things that I could not do prior to the operation. I had some good and some not so good experiences with Queens Hospital itself, I have faith in and would highly recommend Mr Dubey though.
