I had a consultation with Mr Chitsabesan and was diagnosed with an inguinal hernia he explained various options of carrying out a repair and advised that an open repair would be the best option. Mr Chitsabesan explained the procedure and answered all my questions in detail. The open repair proved to be the best option for me due to the size of the hernia. I would highly recommended Mr Chitsabesan and would like to thank him for carrying out my operation.
I underwent Major surgery under Mr Chitsabesan's care. I felt confident that I was being looked after by a professional, highly knowledgeable and caring person.
Mr Chitsabesan answered any questions I had fully and promptly. The whole team were caring and supportive throughout a daunting and difficult time.
I was pleased that I could benefit from Mr Chitsabesan's expertise with laparoscopic robotic surgery. I felt I was on the receiving end of the most up to date treatment available for my condition.
Once I was home I also had some questions which I asked via e-mail. This correspondence was fully and promptly replied to.
Doctor explained the procedure and difference between open and keyhole surgery prior to the admission day. Following the operation he came to see after I had recovered from the anesthetic and explained the operation had been successful and informed me what he had done. Follow up appointment some weeks later to check all was well. I recovered well with no after affects.
I could not be more satisfied with my treatment, he explained what would would happen at each stage and what I could expect pain wise and recovery time. He used language that I could easily understand and he has a great bedside manner.
I have seen Mr Chitsabesan on a number of occasions for diverticulitis. He has always been caring and professional, never seems rushed or in a hurry to get rid of me and seems genuinely interested not only in my condition but also in my family, work etc.
Although diverticulitis is not a lot of fun I always enjoy seeing him and always feel better for the experience. He is a thoroughly nice man
