I had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands at the same time by Philip Suave 2 weeks ago. Fantastic care was received from everybody involved from the first out patient appointment through to having the stitches removed. I couldn’t be any more impressed with my treatment and the outcome. Mr Sauve explained everything in great detail at every step and he also listened to me when I asked questions. I couldn’t have been in any better care and would highly recommend him & Queen Alexandra hospital to anyone. Thank you .
Mr Sauve listened discussed and treated with humour kindness and professionalism
What more could one ask for - all excellent
I had a Cartivia thumb procedure in April and Mr Sauve clearly explained every detail of the operation and recovery process to me. He was happy to answer any questions I had and even spent time during the surgery to explain what he was doing (I had a block rather than a general anaesthetic). I felt relaxed throughout the procedure and the after care has been exceptional. I would strongly recommend Mr Sauve to others.
I had a wrist replacement operation in January 2018 performed by Mr Sauve. From the start of my treatment till the end I was very impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of Mr Sauve not only to me but his staff. Before and during the operation I was made very comfortable and reassured by all the staff involved. The operation went brilliantly and now I have a scar you can barely see.
I would recommend Mr Sauve to anyone, I wouldn’t say it was a pleasant operation to have but, I would say Philip Sauve and his team were the best people to perform it.
Having been booked in by the Day Surgery staff I found the procedure thereafter to be very thorough, efficient and highly professional. Indeed, having been seen by Mr Sauve and the anaesthetist (whose name regrettably I can't recall) the procedure prior to, during the operation and recovery were exactly as explained. Indeed,I found Mr Sauve to be very approachable, confident, interested and very caring. They say a good doctor treats the disease. I felt he did better than that; he treated me, the patient who had the disease.
I am very grateful to both surgeon and anaesthetist.
