I first met Mr Liptay-wagner in one of his clinics at CGH. He had to deliver news following biopsies taken which meant I needed a significant surgical intervention. He was compassionate and kind and was extremely sensitive to my needs. He carried out the operation and saw me in his follow up clinics. He was always consistently professional and I always felt relieved that It was him that I saw and not another Consultant as having that consistency in my care was really important to me. I trusted him completely and feel so lucky that he was such a big part of my journey. I will never be able to thank him enough and will never forget the very special care and attention he gave me. 45 minute delay on appointment which I completely understand however !! introduction non existent given laying fully exposed did not listen to concerns felt very ignored on a milestone appointment. Poor disappointing appointment in general given the excellent care received up till today ! More bedside manner needed.

I have received excellent care today whilst having surgery for Breast Cancer. Mr Liptay -Wagner was everything I could have hoped for. He appeared to be kind and caring. He took time to explain everything that was about to happen to me and I feel sure that I could not have had better treatment. I thank God for the wonderful staff at Broomfield and the NHS. There are so many procedures before surgery takes place that sound very frightening but in truth, none were as bad as I expected them to be and the nurses are there to comfort you every step of the way. They truly deserve our thanks and admiration. I do not see any need for improvement in the attention or care these people provide so once again, Many thanks. Valerie Feltham
