A year ago I had prolapse surgery, painful and uncomfortable and it didn't last long. The second prolapse was much worse and ulcerated from the stitches of the operation. My life as I'd known seemed to be over. In despair I went to see my GP. I asked her if she would refer me to the most experienced gynaecologist that she knew of. I saw Mr Watson privately a short time later. He recommended a procedure called sacrocolpopexy, an operation using mesh. Of course I had read all the scary stuff about this mesh surgery and quite frankly was afraid that I might end up even worse than I was. I read all of Mr Watsons glowing reviews but none mentioned this particular operation. This review is for all women suffering as I was. I'm three weeks down the line from having the operation and I want to reassure women that this man knows his stuff. Not only is he the kindest, understanding gentleman he is also extremely skilled in doing this procedure. Mr Watson is completely trustworthy.

I have never had such an attentive and caring doctor in my entire life. Wish all doctors treated their patients with this much kindness and empathy. Highly recommended and if you have any questions he is happy to answer them prior your surgery or afterwards.

I had severe gynae problems with cysts, endometriosis etc. Dr Watson always treated me with such humour and kindness that I couldn't recommend him enough. He worked with me for over 18 months to enable me to conceive through IVF. My twins William and Sophie are now 18 and are all because of him.

An oustanding Consultant. Mr Watson really "knows his stuff" and is kind, considerate and understanding. I used him years ago after a glowing recomendation but on moving away and having recent issues tried an alternative consultant at a different hospital. What a mistake! I then went back to see Mr Watson within a matter of days who resolved my issues and more importantly put my mind at rest. A fabulous man and Jacky his nurse is absolutley super, kind and caring too - a great team. I cannot recommend highly enough.

I have the great position of being helped by Mr Watson and Jacky to conceive my daughter after 8 miscarriages and also work alongside Mr Watson as a colleague. An amazing man, amazing team and I will be greatful forever. Recommend this device to anyone. Compassion and competence. And always very honest.
