As a medical student under Mr Mogro, I can safely say he is one of the best consultants I have shadowed so far. His caring and precise manner was evident through how he interacted with his patients, and this was reflected in his attitude to teaching his students. It isn’t uncommon as a medical student to feel neglected or shunned by your seniors, however this was never the case with Mr Mogro. He always ensured that I was getting the most out of my placement, and always provided me with teaching and important insights whenever he had the chance. Overall I would highly recommend Mr Mogro as both a teacher and a surgeon, and do not doubt that the patients under his care would receive anything short of the best.

I had a traumatic birth previously so had a planned c section at Queens and Michael helped me understand everything and never pressurised me which I was really thankful for as it helped me make my own mind up. I had lots of questions and he made me feel at ease. Queens as a whole was fantastic care and I am so thankful for the hospital that it is and the care that is given. Thank you
