Dr Gooseman is thoroughly dedicated to providing the best standard of care for his patients. Michael’s passion for cardiothoracic surgery is clear; I greatly admire his ambition and enthusiasm as well as his expertise. As a medical student I have benefited a great deal from Michael’s willingness to teach, both on the wards and at the medical school. He goes above and beyond standard teaching duties, always willing to take on extra projects, and provided help. He is very approachable and I am grateful for his support. Michael’s hard work ethic is an inspiration to me. Dr Gooseman always behaves in a very professional manner; maintaining excellent relationships with staff and receives consistently positive feedback from patients. If I were a patient I would feel delighted to be under his care.

Michael is a very caring doctor and his gentle interactions with patients quickly put them at ease. His clear and simple explanations helps the patient to always understand what is going on. An inspiration to the next generation of doctors, Michael invests much of his time ensuring the potential of medical students is reached - through clinical skills, histories/examinations and revision sessions. I have found first-hand that the time and effort Michael invests into teaching invaluable. Michael is professional and extremely knowledgeable - a gem to the medical and surgical team. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Michael. I hold him in high regard.
