The initial consultation provided me with an opportunity to ask plenty of questions after a through examination. I came away feeling confident and well informed on my decision to proceed with the operation, even during the Covid pandemic. I felt the measures put in place were substantial and the quality of care and attention to detail that Mr Singisetti provided really reassure me. Mr Singisetti is approachable and friendly but very professional with his manner. He put me at ease during all of our meetings and especially on the day of the operation itself. I would like to add a big Thank you to Mr Singisetti, he is an amazing man. My recovery has been successful so far and I am happy with my progress.

I first met Mr Singisetti at the QE hospital in Gateshead as I was having problems with my right hip, after being X-rayed and examined by Mr Singisetti I was told my hip was badly worn and would eventually need a full hip replacement. I was never pressured into having the operation, but I decided to stick with medication to keep the pain under control as I was slightly nervous about having a big operation carried out. I was told if the pain gets too bad and I wanted to go ahead with the operation to get in touch with Mr Singisetti,s secretary. When I finally decided to have the operation I contacted his secretary and I was asked if I would like to go on short notice list as many people were putting off having operations due to corona virus, and I agreed to go on the list. Within 2 weeks I was offered a date for surgery at the Nuffield hospital in Jesmond and I gladly accepted. On the day of my operation Mr Singisetti came to see me with in 20 minutes of me arriving at the hospital to go over the operation with me and sign medical forms, he made me feel very relaxed about having the operation as I was quite nervous at the time. Everything was explained to me in detail and I was able to ask him things which I was concerned about, again he put me at ease about the operation. After the operation I woke up thinking how pleased I was I finally had it done, later that night Mr Singisetti came to see how I was after my operation which again showed how much he cared. In my opinion Mr Singisetti is a great surgeon who showed nothing but care from start to finish and I can’t recommend him enough.

Mr Singisetti was absolutely excellent. I had a bad fall and was very apprehensive about an operation but he and his team put me totally at ease. Everything was clearly explained and I was reassured every step of the way. He was very kind and caring and everyone was friendly, helpful and courteous. The follow up and after care has been fantastic. I cannot thank Mr Singisetti and his team enough. I am well on the road to recovery and I don’t know how I would have managed without them. Bless you all.
