Explained in detail what was going to happen very soothing and helped to soothe nerves so easy to relax knowing that full care and help was always there. Also must say that all the staff with Mr Farrah were very soothing and supportive. Finally may i say that the care received from all staff from bottom to top cannot praise them enough Thank you Dennis Cowley

Dr Farah really listened to me and took great interest in ensuring I received the right aftercare, even when it wasn't immediately apparent that I may need further appointments due to side effects. He has a kind nature and I know he cares for the welfare of his patients. He also told me throughout my treatment how well I was doing. He was patient and encouraging and I cannot thank him enough.

Mr Jibril Osman-Farah, neurosurgeon at the Walton Centre is the greatest of all time, generally, but also because he has made my dream come true. I have no more seizures, of any type, through the successful removal of the left temporal lobectomy on my brain, brilliantly completed by Mr Farah In the whole process of finding out whether my lobectomy could actually be done, and remove my future seizures, Mr. Farah first guaranteed I had an EEG, and then a stereo EEG, as well as loads of brain scans. These were all to confirm my brain surgery was operable to himself, and make me over the moon by telling me that my life changing surgery was possible for him to perfect. He then described the whole process behind the surgery so I could fully understand it, and expect it’s advantageousness. During the second week of January I had my surgery, and I remember Mr Farah coming to see me two and four days after his incredibly life improving neurosurgery, to see how I was doing recovery wise, but also generally. Even though the fourth day I saw him was the first day I could see the question mark stitch on my head, there is no question that Mr Farah is a magnificent neurosurgeon to give me, and many people with epilepsy, an unbelievably greater life without seizures.

On January 12, 2023, I was treated by Dr. Farah for essential tremor using MRI guided focused ultrasound. I was impressed by the good doctor and his team for their attention to detail and caring manner. As a large man (fat) I presented some challenges fitting into the MRI machine, but they patiently accommodated this challenge. A rubber bulb is provided to each patient as an emergency stop signal in the event that something goes wrong in the MRI machine. The only time I needed to use this signal, it had slipped out of my hand, and I found myself being dragged into the machine by my head. Fortunately, I was able to configure myself to enter the machine and remove my distress. I would suggest for future patients a wrist band to prevent the emergency signal bulb from being dropped. Overall I was completely overjoyed with the result, and look forward to improvements in the coming weeks and months. I am certainly glad I got treated by Doctor Farah, and recommend him, The Walton Centre and their staff as highly as I possibly can. If you need their help, you will be in good hands!
