I was kept fully informed, as was my GP, throughout in a friendly relaxed manner. I could not be more delighted with the outcome of the operation, which seemed to me, as a layman, quite tricky The follow up information has been excellent and I have nothing but praise Mr Balasundaram and his team.

Mr Balasundaram is a highly efficient, pro-active and caring doctor who warrants my full recommendation. His workload obviously reflects the general pattern surrounding the NHS in busy winter months but he is a bright, attentive and positive character who appears to make light of his heavy schedule. I like his forthright, no-nonsense approach which he combines with a genial disposition and friendly outlook. He removed two legions from my nose and face and I have every confidence he has done a good job and that the follow-up service will be just as reliable. I'm not sure how he could improve his personal service: Mr Balasundaram is, after all, a key component in a service swamped by red tape and shortage of beds...none of which is down to him. I am certain is skill and professionalism would shine through whatever the circumstances and I look forward to the day when I hear he has been made a consultant.

Mr Balasundaram removed lesions from my nose and right leg. The results are excellent, with minimal visible scarring. Mr Balasundaram was attentive throughout, willingly answering questions (during the surgery!). I felt I was in very good hands at all times and equally so at the routine follow-ups. At a time when the NHS is under pressure and frequently criticised it is pleasant to make positive comments, in particular for Mr Balasundaram and Northwick Park Hospital in general.

This doctor is superb. I saw him following a bike accident. He treated me with appropriate urgency and genuine compassion. He gave me good options of care, but recommended the best route, even though it wasn't the easiest. I have him to thank for excellent treatment of my injuries which resulted in minor scarring. The treatment was difficult, but he did all he could to ease the pain through pace of work and conversation. Follow-up care has also been excellent, wanting to ensure I have good awareness of options as well as a good advice. All round excellent doctor. Highly recommended.

I had a tooth abscess that was really bad that the swelling was half of my face. On being admitted in A&E, I was promptly attended to by Mr Balasundaram and he's team of doctors as I was in so much pain. Surgery was performed within 3-4 hours of my admission and the care was excellent. Mr Balasundaram made sure that he explained the procedure to me clearly and that I understood what he was doing. Excellent care.
