After contracting Meningitis and Sepsis in July 2017, Mr Dafydd undertook my four amputations. Prior to the operations he informed me that he would retain as much of my limbs as was possible. The process was very traumatic but he was always measured and very professional. After the operations he would visit me in the ward even if he had been working for many hours and enquire about my progress and well-being. It was very much appreciated. After undergoing subsequent rigorous rehabilitation I was able to stand on prosthetic limbs some 7 months after my operations. Mr Dafydd's surgery allowed me the chance to walk again after it was so cruelly taken from me. I am currently building the strength in my left arm to receive a prosthetic functioning left hand. Mr Dafydd was able to retain enough of my left arm to make this possible. He has offered further surgery for my part right hand which I will look to undertake in the future.

Mr Dafydd provided exceptional care. He was very professional, supportive and reassuring. My surgery and recovery were straightforward and my scar barely noticeable. Mr Dafydd is very kind and caring. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

The treatment I received from Mr Dafydd was of a very high standard and this was consistent throughout my many appointments. Mr Dafydd has been very sensitive in all his communications, particularly when explaining the diagnosis and what the next steps needed to be. I felt safe and reassured by his professional expertise and his compassionate, caring nature. I am very pleased with end result and this due to his exceptional surgical skills. I am not sure Mr Dafydd could improve what he does, other than to continue just the way he is, so he can help many many more patients.

A truly exceptional consultant & surgeon. I have had 3 separate tendon transfer operations performed by Mr Dafydd. The results have honestly been life changing. I now have functional (and straight) fingers. Mr Dafydd combines his expertise with a willingness to listen and discuss the different options. I had the utmost confidence during every surgery. He is always calm and extremely professional. Whilst researching a suitable surgeon, I discovered he came highly recommended by his peers across the UK.
