I would thoroughly recommend Hywel. He made me feel at home from the first minute of my consultation and had read through any notes that had been passed on to him prior to my consultation (a rarity these days). His 'bedside manner' and way of explaining issues and potential treatments were brilliant. He also followed up with a detailed letter of everything discussed at the consultation ( another rarity).

I was recently referred to Hywel Dafydd by another consultant for suspected thoracic outlet syndrome and an ulnar nerve issue in my elbows. He was very professional and I felt relaxed and at ease throughout my consultation. Mr Dafydd listened carefully and was good at explaining things clearly and simply, giving me a good understanding of my symptoms and potential causes. My consultation was quite lengthy but I didn’t feel at all hurried. After a year of investigations and appointments with various doctors, it was a relief to finally understand my symptoms a little better. I received my clinical letter the following day with a referral to a specialist physiotherapist and was welcomed to be in touch with Mr Dafydd, should I need to. I felt that I was in very good hands with Hywel Dafydd and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

Easy to register and book appointment, and promptly seen. Quick to collate and embrace issues with my hand and provide diagnosis and current and possible future treatment options. Follow up letter arrived same day with links for physiotherapist for rehabilitation. All in all a great service, highly recommend.
