It is difficult to express my love and respect for Mr. Hooman Soleymanimajd when he has seen what I need, fought to make the procedure happen, delivered life-saving surgery and clearly relished seeing me restored to health. The reviews of previous patients have said so much of his kindness, attentiveness and clear decision-making and I want to echo these in full. I have cause particularly to thank Mr. Sooleymanimajd for his assessment of the cancer surgery I needed and for his willingness to stand up (albeit with Professor Keogh's support) to several colleagues who proposed a different course of treatment and was proven in time to be correct - and I am able to bear witness to this by my recovery. It will always be a delight to meet him for follow up on my progress.

Dr Hooman Solymanimajd was very in touch with my aunts needs he listened / remembered our previous conversations ( soft facts about my aunt) she trusted him . He treated her with respect. With regards to Hooman as a surgeon the surgery was a success . A talented individual indeed . I was very impressed with Hooman and he left the door open If we had an further questions post my aunts operation and the handover back to Swindon hospital were my aunt will complete her treatment. Finally and in hindsight the appointments were quick once my aunt was diagnosed. Thank you as I realise that where cancer is concerned time is of the essence. The Churchill hospital and staff is a very special place indeed.

From the first consultation through to post surgery, Mr Soleymanimajd made every effort to put me at ease as much as possible. Mr Soleymanimajd was very focused on arriving at the best possible solution for myself as a patient, in a realistic and timely manner. Mr Soleymanimajd is clearly very experienced in his discipline and this comes across both from Mr Soleymanimajd, and all members of his team. I will forever be very grateful to Mr Soleymanimajd for the professionalism and care he showed me.

I was referred to Mr Soleymani for surgery for advanced ovarian cancer. I am now 7 months post-surgery. Mr Soleymani is a truly exceptional consultant. He is calmly reassuring, communicates very well, displays a very rigorous, thorough approach and is obviously a highly accomplished surgeon. My surgery was carefully planned by Mr Soleymani and the team to ensure that all the necessary resources were in place at the hospital. During the lengthy subsequent complex operation Mr Soleymani and the surgical team managed to remove all visible disease while taking special care to ensure that I suffered the smallest possible loss of amenities. My aftercare has been similarly exemplary and I have been able to resume my active lifestyle thanks to the care of Mr Soleymani and the wider team. A special mention should also go to Zoe Risk, Mr Soleymani’s PA, who is fantastically on the ball.

During my first consultation with Mr Soleymani, I felt very nervous and anxious having earlier had a diagnosis I was not expecting and which had come as a shock. Mr Soleymani picked up on my anxiety immediately, and made me feel at ease. He listened to my concerns and was honest, but reassuring. Before, during and after my treatment I felt I was always well-looked after and I was not surprised to be told that he was among the best in field of gynaecological oncology. Mr Soleymani's calm, kind and generous manner was exactly what was needed at a time of uncertainty and worry. I will always be grateful to him and his surgical team for their care, and for carrying out a successful operation.
