Mr Soleymani was recommended by my oncologist after I experienced intense gynaecological pain which subsequently showed as a suspect ovarian lesion on scans. Having had breast cancer in the past a recurrence was obviously a concern. Mr Soleymani's approach was sensitive, honest and reassuring- he has a way of instilling trust immediately and I felt well-informed and guided throughout my 2 surgeries. Risks and benefits were described and assessed and I had complete confidence in his surgical skills and his choice of colleagues- from Zoe his lovely secretary, to the anaesthetist and radiologists who interpreted my scans. Fortunately my suspected ovarian cancer actually turned out to be benign but I couldn't have felt in safer hands had the outcome been less positive. And 4 months after my total hysterectomy, oopherectomy and removal of extensive adhesions, my scars have healed and I am just about back to full activity, with that particular health blip now firmly in the past.

Mr Hooman Soleymanimajd is an excellent surgeon whom I had complete faith and trust in from my first consultation with him. He ensured I was fit enough to withstand the operation and also managed to provide keyhole surgery despite an operation 34 years earlier which might have precluded it.The nursing staff at the Manor hospital spoke highly of him and said he never had any post op complications. Exactly 2 weeks since my operation I am doing many household chores and enjoying a social life. Not only is Mr Soleymani an excellent surgeon but he is a truly pleasant helpful and compassionate man. I will forever be grateful to him. Janet Irvine

I was referred to Mr Soleymani in December 2021 with a diagnosis of stage 3 endometrial cancer. From the very beginning I felt trust and confidence in his approach, and after my total hysterectomy in particular where I felt like he did an amazing surgery which I recovered from super quickly. My follow ups have been thorough and I have been grateful for his significant specialist knowledge and experience. His PA, Zoe, is also a star, and has so managed all of the associated arrangements and administration in such an efficient and friendly way - which weren’t straightforward due to my location! I feel very fortunate to have been in their capable and experienced hands.

I was recommended Mr Soleymani for surgery following a cancer diagnosis as he was described to me as someone both 'meticulous and methodical' in his work. From my initial meeting, I was immediately reassured by his confidence and empathy especially regarding the difficulties of being a Lynch Syndrome patient. Due to previous surgery for bowel cancer, he calmly explained the risks and was very patient with my endless questions. His assistant Zoe was amazing at coordinating the arrangements and replying to emails all hours of the day. I underwent a laparoscopic hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy which did turn out to be complex and I truly believe that had this been undertaken by any other surgeon, the outcome would have been very different. He took extra time and care to ensure that I kept my remaining bowel without damaging any other organs and therefore can continue my life as before. I'm only a few months post surgery and am stunned at how normal I feel; there is no pain and I'm already back exercising. I truly am so grateful and fortunate that my life has been saved by his skill and expertise. I really cannot recommend him highly enough.

Hooman Soleymanimajd was outstanding from the moment I saw him at my initial consultation, and throughout my ongoing care. He is an exceptional listener, with a unique ability to explain risks and benefits of surgery clearly. He makes you feel safe and important and I would not hesitate recommending him to my family and friends. He is an exceptional surgeon and my post operative care was outstanding. I can not thank him enough for the care he gave me and my family. An outstanding surgeon and the kindest Doctor.
