Mr Morassi is a wonderful surgeon, he operated on 3 discs in my neck. He explained clearly what would happen which was scary but he made me feel completely confident to go ahead with the surgery. I cannot thank Mr Morassi and his team enough for the care and support they gave me and continue to do so. Regards Julie Lambert

I am very grateful to Mr Morassi for helping to improve my health, and equally, my standard of life. Before my operation to fix a severe herniated disc, I was in terrible pain daily, unable to walk far, unable to straighten my back, severe sciatica, and felt ignore by previous doctors I had seen. Mr Morassi instantly made me feel heard. I felt understood in my pain and difficulties. I was told in detail of the risks, the procedure and appreciated his honest and calming way. I feel very lucky to have been a patient of such a wonderful surgeon and specialist.

I think that it is impossible to improve anything about the care, treatment and compassion that I received from Mr Morassi throughout my treatment and during my stay at the Royal Sussex County Hospital. After being in severe pain and unable to walk and barely able to stand ; he has improved my mobility considerably and I can now do short distances with a walking stick. I am very grateful to this excellent surgeon who has changed my life for the better. Thank You Mr Morassi. From Frank Smith

Mr Morassi is a very friendly surgeon. I immediately felt hat he had read my history as he knew an awful lot. He took the time to listen to me which other surgeons previously had not and as such I relaxed as much as I could in consultations. He was forthright about all options prior to surgery and explained in detail the potential risks and benefits of these options. As such I felt fully inclusive with regards to the processes that need to be undertaken. Post op he took the time to see me on the ward and other the next 48hrs when I saw him he explained what comes next. His calm demeanor certainly helped me through the whole experience. When I saw him for my first post op follow up he was openly pleased that the operation appeared to be a success in respect of the healing process and a lot of the symptoms disappearing, with the hope of the remainder over time. That to me shows he is a surgeon who genuinely cares about his patients in this relentless, pressured world that he NHS is persistently in. The Hove polyclinic location for consultations is absolutely perfect. It is more relaxed than a hospital environment and has easy and plentiful (free) parking to take the stress out of attendance, as coming from such a distance public transport isn't really an option for me. As an X-Ray was ordered for when I arrived it was such a simple process having the X-ray and a few minutes later sitting there in the consulting room looking at it on the screen.
