Dear Mr.Gidon Ellis, I am very grateful that you saw me on the 12/12/2022 regarding my prostrate. You took time to explain to me the reason why I have to go so often to pass water as well as having a very weak flow. You also explained to me different actions ( operations) available to overcome the problems. Thank you for arranging CT angiogram. I hope to discuss the course of action after the CT scan with you or your appointed colleague. Kind Regards, Sharad Mehta

Recently, I had the experience of consulting Mr G Ellis a consultant at the Royal Free for my urology problems. I had had an earlier consultation a few months back. I am an 85 year old male in moderate to good, for my age, overall health but do see consultants about 5 -6 times annually now I have reached my mid'80s. Without doubt this consultant is one who reaches the very top of my preferences and experiences for even though under time pressures he made time by efficient and clear interrogation transferred answers directly to the report writer all the while maintaining a very much listening mode and seemed efficiently to interpret my observations, verbally noted the detail of my own history and readings and answers in a free flowing conversation that gave great confidence and left me with a good feeling and belief in his outcome which was in the report a very short time after my consultation. I virtually never give 100% answers as all humans must be able to improve -even perfection! - but on this occasion I am bound by fairness to award 5/5 stars.

Mr. Ellis is what every doctor should be: he is professional, attentive and person-centred. He communicates well and honestly. Although on my last consultation I received some bad news that an upcoming test could highlight and limited treatment options may result, Mr. Ellis was honest and clear at explaining the treatment plan. Overall, he consistently comes across, as kind, respectful and polite to the patient which one doesn't always experience from health-professionals. I just feel lucky to have had him undertake 4 procedures for me over time.
