Let's start by saying at the age of 55 i have never been in hospital before or broken any bones until a few years ago. So my fears and anxiety levels about having an operation after breaking my collarbone were through the roof. Absolutely no need to have worried, from the very first appointment with Mr T until the time i was discharged I was put at ease, felt listened to and knew i was in the best possible hands. Mr T has put me back together, with the best bedside manner and neatest scar ever. I am no longer terrified of operations or hospitals thanks to this man, keep doing what you're doing Mr T, you're the best!!

I recently had a subacromial decompression of my left shoulder performed by Mr Gautam Talawadekar. He had treated me with injections for 2 years prior to this surgery. My experience has been nothing but positive. If you're looking for a consultant that is patient, is prepared to listen, that is professional but friendly, really positive but measured in his approach, then I would definitely recommend Gautam. Honestly he's just a really nice bloke, but also the professional that you want to perform your surgery. On the day of my surgery I was asked if I was nervous by my sister who was taking me to the hospital, and my answer was 'no, not at all'. I can pay him no greater compliment. He managed my condition for a couple of years, and I'd consider him a friend because he was so good to me, not sure how he'd feel about that... My shoulder is recovering well, and I'm very happy with my choice of consultant. Again, he's a really top bloke and I'm grateful to the care and attention he has shown me. Good luck Gautam, keep going, I hope you can help lots more people in the future. Keep smiling and change nothing.
