Mr Hartwright put me at ease through every step of the process, from my very first consultation trying to work out if it was the right time for me to have this procedure all the way through to post op aftercare.
Every question I had was listened to and addressed and I was given the information needed to make the right choice for me at the right time.

David carried out a hip replacement for me. From my initial consultation he was very reassuring and put me at ease, explaining clearly and in detail what to expect during the operation and the choices available with regard to anesthetics etc. I believe my operation was more complicated than normal due to already having a screw in my femur from a previous operation many years before, and was a concern for me. However David was able to successfully remove it without causing any damage or degradation to the joint.
I have just had my one year check, and all is good. I am walking completely normally and totally pain free and now have my life back again. Top marks to this man. I recommend him at the highest level!

David Hartwright has just been totally amazing! Explained literally everything in detail so I knew exactly what to expect. The care I received as his patient was brilliant and I cannot fault a single thing. This gentleman has given me a new lease of life and my independence back at the age of 49. Having suffered from Osteoarthritis in my hips for considerable time, following a MSK consultant's referral to David Hartwright, I recently underwent a total hip replacement procedure. At my initial meeting with David, he explained the surgery itself very well, set accurate and realistic expectations for the recovery, and gave what turned out to be sound advice both pre and post operative. I am now pain free for the first time in ages and I'm extremely grateful to David, and I thoroughly recommended him.
