Mr Dan Arvinte was very professional, explained procedure thoroughly and very approachable. I have received a brilliant hip replacement operation, leaving me pain free. Hospital aftercare was excellent.

Dr. D Arvinte was a extremely helpful surgeon. He listened to me, answering any questions I had, explained the procedure in detail telling me what to expect and how my knee would feel and heal afterwards.
He has been extremely professional in every meeting we have had and I would be super impressed if, when it's required, he would do my right knee replacement.

This is my second visit to Mr Dan Arvinte. He made me feel totally relaxed as he explained the problems with my knee. I saw the X-ray while he explained what was happening then offered me treatment of a steroid injection. I had nearly four months free of pain so felt confident in returning for a second injection. I am a very anxious person so had to feel totally confident in my Consultant. He answered all my questions so am hoping to have a partial knee operation in the near future. It would have to be carried out by Mr Arvinte due to anxiety so that I feel I would be in very safe hands.

I consider myself very fortunate to have been referred to this highly qualified Orthopedic Surgeon at bedford Hospital after spending two years under MSK with no positive action at all.
I was given every opportunity to outline my painful Arthritic concerns to Mr Arvinte who listened whilst taking notes before outlining plans for my treatment. All of which I clearly understood.
Because of my age and previous medical history it was decided that any form of major surgery should be avoided if at all possible, all of which I totally agreed with.
Injections in both knees was administered there and then without any delays encountered.
I felt totally relaxed and reassured at all time during my two appointents due to the kind and considerate manner in which i had been dealt with by this highly professional Consultant to whom i am most grateful.

Mr Dan Arvinte is a well recognised Orthopaedic Consultant with a special interest in hip and knee pathology. He has a vast international experience. He has done his basic and specialist Trauma and Orthopaedics training in Romania, Belgium, Austria, Japan, Hong Kong and United Kingdom. He is Fellowship trained in Hip and Knee Replacement procedures (primary, complex primary and revision surgery) and knee arthroscopic procedures. His results in UK National Joint Registry are excellent. He is also Regional Clinical Supervisor for medical students from Cambridge Medical School and a clinical and educational supervisor for junior doctors from East of England Deanery.
