Mr.Quah has operated on both my hips in the last 9 mouths at two different locations. At both locations all his medical staff and back room personal have been very informative. They kept me informed of what was happening especially in these very difficult times. When I had my consultation Mr. Quah was very friendly and easy to get on with and gave me all the confidence that I needed for both my operations. I would recommend him to anybody who had any worries about hips&knee surgary.

I visited Mr Quah late last year with a hip problem. Following an X-ray it was proposed that I had a steroid injection in my Hip socket. It was explained to me at the time, that this would relieve the pain that was caused by the inflammation, but no guarantees could be given as to how long this relief would last for. This approach was ideal as I was about to go on holiday. The procedure took place and did indeed remove the pain, but it returned circa 6 weeks later. Following a further consultation with Mr Quah and explanation of my options, I decided to go for a full hip replacement procedure. This procedure took place on January 3rd 2020 and now 6 weeks later, I am walking 3-4 miles a day, driving and back at work. The whole experience has been a positive one, helped significantly by Mr Quah's manner and understanding of my concerns. I would not hesitate to recommend his services and expertise to anyone and would happily engage him again if needs be.

After a knee operation with serious infection I was transferred from another hospital to the Royal Derby Hospital Orthopaedic and Trauma under Mr Quah and his team. I found the quality of care under Mr Quah outstanding, he was very informative with timed aspects and stages to the exact dates of operations and antibiotic treatments. He has a very approachable and makes you feel at ease with his knowledge. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Quah to any patients who need his specialist Treatment in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery
