I was due a right whole knee replacement from another consultant but close friends persuaded me to go for a second opinion and very highly recommended Mr Anand. So I made my appointment and was more than happy that I did. Mr Anand spent time in assessing my condition, and studying all the imaging, his advice was, I needed just a half knee and that he would operate with robotic assistance. He talked the procedure through and I knew at that moment I wanted him to perform the surgery. That was one year ago, and subsequently I have just spent 5 weeks skiing and walk my dogs 2 hours a day with NO pain, discomfort or any arthritic pain. He did an amazing job and I cannot recommend him high enough, as I will be returning one day soon to have my other knee done... Also just must mention the staff at St Anthony's were all terrific, cared and helped with smiles and enthusiasm...

I have now had both knees replaced by Mr Anand, the last one only 8 weeks ago. As well as a great surgeon, he has been kind and caring throughout and very easy to talk to. His team in theatre were very reassuring as well. The nursing staff at North Downs were also great and did their best to ensure I was comfortable. Both operations went very well and I have been able to return to my normal routine within a couple of months. I’m hoping to be playing Tennis in a couple of weeks. I would certainly recommend Mr Anand to anyone thinking about knee replacement surgery.

My osteopath recommended Mr. Anand as he had done a successful knee operation on his father. Reviews on the web site were also very positive and confirmed the choice.. From the first meeting, when Mr. Anand explained the options and risks, to my recent 6 week post operation consultation, he has been very helpful and reassuring. The operation at St. Anthony's went very well, with excellent staff, and the whole process has been less painful and with a faster recovery time than I had feared. I would highly recommend Mr. Anand and will certainly go to him if my other knee needs surgery.

From my first meeting with Mr Anand I felt confident and reassured. I liked the way he spoke to the surrounding staff. He detailed what the operation would entail and gave me the option for him to use a robot, I agreed to this. The day of the operation came, every thing was clockwork, Mr Anand's presence was considerable. I was told I would be in for two or three nights, I actually left after just one night. The scarring on my knee was always tiny, it is now almost invisible. I had varied times give re driving and return to sport. I was driving after two weeks and playing tennis after eight. I can't speak highly enough of Mr Anand and his considerable skills.

Following 3 previous consultants and 9 months in the process I was finally referred to Mr Anand. Within one consultation I was given his opinion that I needed an operation. To confirm this I had an Xray and a scan. Both confirmed the diagnosis was correct. I had the operation at St Anthony's Spire Hospital. The staff where absolutely amazing, kind, patient, friendly and so caring. They simply could not do enough for me. The following few weeks where uncomfortable, however, I had no crutches after two weeks and have walked well since then. I did do some research on Mr Anand and did not have a single bad report, even from other surgeons and my Osteopath. He clearly knows what he is doing and does it well. The scar is so minimal and neat, my knees now feel better than they have in years, even after only 6 weeks. I will be seeing Mr Anand again for my other knee in due course. I have found him utterly charming (and always smells lovely). If you are in pain, don't delay seeing Mr Anand, you won't regret it.
