I first met Mr Khoubehi at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and he gave me confidence in his knowledge and ability from the start. He was direct, but in a caring and encouraging way, so much so that I wanted him to be the surgeon for my necessary prostate operation. He performed this successfully in 2015. I have been visiting him regularly since then and have always found him very helpful and informative.

Mr. Khoubehi is quite simply one of the most outstanding physicians that I have ever dealt with. I visited Mr. Khoubehi after experiencing acute kidney pain some time ago. After contacting his practice to make an appointment, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was put straight through to Mr. Khoubehi who proceeded to ask me about my symptoms. Soon after, I was advised to visit the hospital where I was greeted by Mr. Khoubehi who is an extremely personable and caring professional. After arranging for me to have an MRI scan the very same day, I was contacted by his office as I was making my way home. Mr. Khoubehi advised me that I was diagnosed with having a 5mm kidney stone. Mr. Khoubehi possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of Urology and was confident that the kidney stone would pass in the next few days. He went on to prescribe me a course of Tamsulosin accompanied by pain killers to help manage the pain. Moreover, as he was due to go on holiday that evening, he recommended alternative Urologists for me to reach out to if I had any concerns. This is a degree of care and attention that one seldom experiences. Sure enough, less than 24 hours later, the stone was gone and the excruciating pain had disappeared. He is a professional of the highest order and a credit to his profession.

I saw Dr Khoubehi when I was incidentally noted to have some growths on my kidneys during an ultrasound scan. As a mother of two young children I was absolutely petrified and feared the worst. Dr Khoubehi was very sensitive and understanding and explained to me that he thinks that these lesions are unlikely to represent anything sinister, but went on to confirm his clinical impression by some additional scans, which were spot on! I was hugely relieved. Dr Khoubehi is not only brilliant and ethical, but also manifestly cares passionately for his patients. I recommend him unreservedly.

Mr Khoubehi operated on me for urinary retention in June this year. I was recommended to him by my GP, in whose opinion Mr Khoubehi is the best urologist around. I can now fully understand and completely agree with my GP. During my fist consultation with him, he spent time answering all of my questions and explained all the possible options. On the day of my surgery he completely put at ease and he had a great anaesthetist who was very efficient. I left hospital 2 days after my TURP, delighted with the outcome of my operation. Mr Khoubehi saw me each day I was in hospital and took great deal of time answering all of my questions. After leaving the hospital, I saw him in two separate occasions (he has now discharged me to my GP), on each occasion he was on time and interested on my surgery's results. I am extremely happy with the results of my surgery and cannot recommend him highly enough.
