Once going to the appointment Mr Vaqas was kind and listened to every concern and question myself and my partner had. At the end of the appointment he reassured he would refer myself to a colleague in addenbrooke's hospital for a second opinion. This was February and I have had 0 contact from Mr Vaqas not even a letter summarising our appointment. The referall has not been done and I'm at the end of a rope.(it is now the end of April for context) He understood I have been dealing with this issue for 4months prior and is now allowing me to suffer longer. Genuinely disappointed as he seemed to be the only consultant to listen and believe everything I had wrong with myself

Mr vaqas performed my biopsy of brain tumour in feb 2024. Unfortunately my result was not what we hoped for, but mr vaqas delivered the news in such a kind and compassionate way. He also saw me every day on ward, and also saw me in a&e when I had to go in earlier than planned. He always seemed like he genuinely cared for me and my family.

Mr Vaqas is amazing in his care, skill and explanations. He is very clear and concise about treatment and happy to answer all questions and gives his time to listen and reassure. Not only will he listen to me as the patient, he is quite happy to explain and liaise to my husband. Very happy to under his care and expertise. Thank you

I received an excellent standard of care from Mr Vaqas and his team and could not fault the care and treatment I received from Mr Vaqas both pre and post surgery. Constructive feedback would be: if you have a patient that needs to drink gliolan before their surgery and wait 3 hours - they should be asked to arrive at Queens morning surgery before the 7am standard time and possibly have a partitioned area built in the surgical waiting ward to ensure patients are not exposed to daylight.

He communicated great constantly keeping me in the loop and letting me know what is happening and what could happen and checking in with me before and after the surgery.
