My two year had been suffering from severe vomiting bouts for about an year. The root cause could not be detected. After one of these severe episodes, when he was in hospital, his reports were sent to Dr. Saxena. Dr. Saxena detected something unusual in the scans and insisted on getting his transferred to Chelsea immediately. Dr. Saxena heard us with great intent and revealed that a surgery is needed. He took the time to explain the process in detail and highlighted corresponding / potential risks. The surgery was a great success and Dr. Saxena and his excellent team removed a cyst, the size of a small apple, that was saddled on the intestine. Post surgery, Dr. Saxena, again very kindly explained the next steps. Since then, our two year has recovered from the surgery and post 6 weeks, we had a follow-up session with Dr. Saxena. To our relief, Dr. Saxena confirmed that our child is doing well and has no concerns. He has also set up follow up scans and consultation sessions over the next few months to check whether there are any residual cysts and whether further action is needed. We are very grateful to Dr. Saxena for the following reasons: 1. He was able to spot a problem which was previously not diagnosed for about an year. 2. His successful surgery and post surgery support. 3. His ongoing support and plan over the next coming months to ensure that the problem does not re-occur. As parents, we feel a sense of great relief and gratitude that Dr. Saxena is leading the prognosis and solution of our child's long standing health problems. We cannot thank him enough and very highly recommend him based on our experiences.

Mr Saxena is a great surgeon and performed an operation on my son for his Achalasia Type B, thankfully it was a success and two years on my son can now eat and swallow very well, I would recommend him 100%.

My daughter was transferred to Chelsea and Westminster shortly after birth for a bowel obstruction. On arrival to NICU in the evening my partner was met by Mr Saxena where he fully explained what was going to happen next and what the surgery entailed. The following day the operation went ahead and I met Mr Saxena in the NICU. He drew a diagram for me and explained clearly what happened during the surgery as I had only been transferred that day from another hospital. I couldn’t recommend and thank Mr Saxena and his team enough for effectively saving my daughters life. He was professional, respectful and caring at all times.

My son was assessed by Consultant Saxena today. My son said afterwards that he felt comfortable and understood everything that was explained. In his own words he’s ‘got the best consultant ever!’ We recommend Consultant Saxena to the highest standard and look forward to our next appointment, where I know my son will receive the best possible care.
