After speaking to Mr Chandratreya at a consultation, it was evident I needed his help to repair damage to my knee sustained over 8 years ago. His personality put me at ease immediately and his knowledge gave me confidence that the problem could be resolved with an arthroscopy. I had the procedure in October at the Vale Hospital and I instantly felt the difference. A post operative appointment was really informative, and explained in detail by Mr Chandratreya with photographs. My future is bright thanks to him and his team.

It’s been one year since my ACL reconstruction and partial knee replacement. I’m 56 year old female and was in soooo much pain before the operation. Had suffered for years following an old skiing injury and had two previous ACLops on the left knee. I honestly never thought I’d be able to walk again, never mind run or bound up the stairs . I wore a brace before the operation and was on high does meds. Mr. C has done amazing work, he’s changed my life and I am eternally grateful. After so much pain and muscle wasting, today both my legs are the same size and I’m leaping around like a gazelle. Thanks to Amit and his team of awesome surgeons... you rock!

In May 2019 Mr Chandratreya performed total knee replacement on both knees. The wait for this this operation was drawn out (nearly three years waiting list), and is no reflection on Mr Chandratreya. Throughout numerous consultations Mr Chandratreya was professional, caring and offered practical support pending the procedure. The build up to the operation was excellent with full briefings undertaken by his team to allay any concerns and was realistic in terms of what to be expected post operation. Immediately after the procedure, I realised that the pain I suffered for years was no longer there. During past consultations Mr Chandratreya explained that I had pain in the knees and had merely become accustomed to it. I was walking the day after the procedure (operation late afternoon and zonked until the early hours of the next day) and discharged after three days. Of course there has been some pain from the operation, but I know that my knee pains are gone and my walking continues to improve. Mr Chandratreya is a miracle worker. I am not normally prone to these sort of sites, but in this instance the plaudits are deserved and are not merely contrived assertions.
