After years of being told you just have period pain take pain killers and get on with it Mr Priddy diagnosed me with endometriosis. I've been seeing Mr Priddy on and off for years now as this disease unfortunately keeps coming back. Mr Priddy has always talked through in detail the different options before heading into surgery. He has such a kind nature/manor he makes you feel totally at ease and that your in safe hands (which you are!). If there's anyone out there who's suffering, suffer no more and make an appointment to see Mr Priddy you will have a much happier pain free life, trust me I know!

I was diagnosed with a large fibroid in my uterus in April 2021, after years of being ignored. At this point I decided to go through the Private Health care route and I was recommended Dr Priddy by a friend who had been his patient on 2 separate occasions. I am glad I went with the recommendation, Dr Priddy was patient calm and caring. After talking though all my options with him, I decided to have a abdominal hysterectomy. Dr Priddy calmly explained the before, after, recovery process and explained what would happen if there were any complications. Having all the facts made me feel confident about my decision and how my recovery would be after major surgery. My surgery was in July 2021, Dr Priddy came to see me after I woke up to check up on me and explain how my surgery went (luckily no big complications), he visited me nearly every day in the week I was in hospital talking though how I was feeing each day. Each day I spoke to Dr Priddy I felt more confident about my long recovery ahead. I highly recommend Dr Priddy as a consultant, he made major surgery feel easy. I am now at 13 weeks after surgery and doing very well mentally and physically, which i feel is down to the confidence I had in my consultant and care providers. Thank you all who were involved in helping me.

After several years of being told I had endometriosis and being seen by various other doctors whilst in and out of hospital, I sought out Mr Priddy for an investigation to try to identify the cause of my debilitating pain. Mr Priddy performed a laparoscopy where he identified and removed a large cyst and an adhesive bowel, neither of which were identified by previous doctors. I would thoroughly recommend Mr Priddy to any woman suffering with gynaecological issues. Almost immediately after recovering from general anaesthesia, Mr Priddy came to see me to discuss the surgery and check on my well-being. I found him very caring, professional and comforting in his manner. Having fully recovered from the surgery, I am now pain free for the first time in 6 years. I cannot thank Mr Priddy enough.

I have been visiting Mr Priddy for several years now in relation to my endometriosis diagnosis, diagnosed by him. I spent several years in and out of the Dr’s or hospital prior to this being told I had IBS or every other alternative illness. I was referred to Mr Priddy and underwent laparoscopic surgery where he found and diagnosed me with having endometriosis. Whilst having the surgery, he removed any existing endometrial tissue and after several hours of surgery I’d felt the healthiest id felt and was relieved from pain for a long time. Due to the nature of the disease although is not the case for everyone, my endometriosis returns and has done on almost a yearly basis. I continue to see Mr Priddy and have undergone a number of surgery’s as and when necessary. I can honestly say, he is one of the best consultants out there and although the condition is unpleasant, he has made me feel very comfortable and I trust in his judgement completely. Dr Priddy is a fantastic consultant and I can’t praise him enough. I struggled for 3 months with a perineal wound breakdown of an episiotomy after the birth of my baby, before I came to see Dr Priddy. This was not only physically debilitating but had a huge impact on my mental well-being as a new mum. Dr Priddy put me at ease and gave me the reassurance I needed instantly. He told me he would fix the problem and he did. He took special care to ensure I understood the procedure and any aftercare. I couldn’t be more happier with the outcome. I feel like myself again and happy I can really enjoy the simplest of activities with my baby which were once a challenge. His gentle, kind and caring nature is a rarity these days. Dr Priddy is a fantastic consultant and have used for over 10 years and fully trust him with my all my gynaecologist related problems. I have found Dr Priddy to be very professional, and has always offered the best advice to suit my symptoms and lifestyle. My treatments have always been carefully handled with so much care and comfort. Some of my treatment has been very intrusive which made me very anxious however, with the reassurance and the level of care offered this was nicely controlled. The most wonderful man. Mr Priddy is an absolute hero to myself and my 2 daughters. I first met him over 30 years ago when I was experiencing some very worrying health issues. From the moment I opened the door and was greeted with the warmest smile I knew I was going to be in safe hands. Mr Priddy was so reassuring it absolutely turned my life around. I felt so unwell but his encouraging and so kind words and his confidence in diagnosing my condition gave me great peace of mind. It was a long road ahead but through out it all Mr Priddy was there for me offering reassurance and encouragement all the way in his always patient, kind and so amazingly caring and extremely sympathetic manner. My illness was not life threatening but if left untreated would have gone on to cause all sorts of health complications and issues and being in my 20s at the time carful handling of my condition was important so not to jeopardize any plans to have more children. Mr Priddy was so thoughtful and careful with my treatment plan, he took time to explain everything calmly and clearly and so confidently that I trusted him 100% and had no concerns what so ever that I was getting anything less than the best treatment one could ever wish for. 30 plus years on Mr Priddy is still looking after me and In fact my 2 daughters as well. He hasn’t changed one bit, still the same lovely man, so very reassuring,kind and careful. My daughters and I are totally in awe of him,with him it’s no problems just solutions which puts ones mind at ease immediately and it’s all rounded off always with a genuine warm smile and greeting every single time you meet him. Thank you Mr Priddy, I can honestly say you have so enhanced mine and my daughters lives, you have been there for us through thick and thin and as said before you are literally our hero, please don’t ever retire.

I have been a patient of Mr Priddy’s for almost 10 years. He not only excels in his field, he is caring and compassionate. Mr Priddy has made a real difference to my life by helping me manage my pain and also help me achieve my dream of becoming a Mum. I first saw Mr Priddy in 2015 when I had long term pain issues, he recognised my symptoms of endometriosis and recommended a laparoscopy to confirm and then treat the illness. His care of my condition has been incredible, not only ensuring I don't continue to have the pain by giving me the best course of treatment but also helping me navigate my way to having a very longed for family. I've had two operations with Mr Priddy and both times he has been incredibly careful to treat my condition but also to ensure my fertility was not compromised. My condition has left me in so much pain and hospitalised a number of times and Mr Priddy has been there straight away to help me through it and to ensure that it doesn't continue. The service by Mr Priddy and the hospital was fantastic and although the condition can never be cured as such I am very confident in Mr Priddy helping me to control it. He is a very kind person who takes the time to listen to you and work with you to make a plan. I have never had to worry about any treatment or operations with Mr Priddy as he is very clear with his communication and really cares about his patients. I am so very grateful to him for all he has done for me and my family and cannot thank him enough.

I found Mr Priddy to be very professional and kind. I was extremely anxious about the operation I was going to have to go through and I felt I could not have be in better hands. From the first time I met Mr Priddy he made me feel like I was the only patient he was dealing with. He explained everything in great detail and put my mind at ease. I also found his secretary, Sue to be most helpful during the few times I spoke with her. Mr Priddy visited me in hospital everyday to check on my progress.
