I was diagnosed with a large fibroid in my uterus in April 2021, after years of being ignored. At this point I decided to go through the Private Health care route and I was recommended Dr Priddy by a friend who had been his patient on 2 separate occasions. I am glad I went with the recommendation, Dr Priddy was patient calm and caring. After talking though all my options with him, I decided to have a abdominal hysterectomy. Dr Priddy calmly explained the before, after, recovery process and explained what would happen if there were any complications. Having all the facts made me feel confident about my decision and how my recovery would be after major surgery. My surgery was in July 2021, Dr Priddy came to see me after I woke up to check up on me and explain how my surgery went (luckily no big complications), he visited me nearly every day in the week I was in hospital talking though how I was feeing each day. Each day I spoke to Dr Priddy I felt more confident about my long recovery ahead. I highly recommend Dr Priddy as a consultant, he made major surgery feel easy. I am now at 13 weeks after surgery and doing very well mentally and physically, which i feel is down to the confidence I had in my consultant and care providers.
