I was on the fast-track pathway for possible ovarian cancer and Dr Nandy was my consultant/surgeon at St Thomas’ and Guy’s NHS Trust. She put me at ease straight away with her warmth and approachability. I felt I very comfortable with her when we shared a laugh and was pleased I was seeing a woman consultant. She took great care to explain what the next steps would be and answered my questions with patience and clarity. It was decided that a prophylactic total hysterectomy would be the best solution to my post-menopausal problems and I was added to her surgery list. I was extremely happy to see her smiling face on the day of my operation. She went through the procedure with me and made me feel at ease about what was to happen. I must also thank the anaesthesia team who calmed my anxiety and dealt with what became a slightly stressful situation with such kindness. I was discharged the following day but Dr Nandy rang me the following week to see how I was – a lovely personal touch which made me feel she actually cared. My histology follow-up appointment was arranged within weeks of my surgery which put me at ease. In fact all of the people I dealt with including the admin staff, nursing staff and Dr Nandy in the McNair Centre and those in the St Thomas’ day surgery unit and gynaecology ward were caring, kind and kept me informed. I am now 9 weeks post-op with barely any scars and feel much better. Thank you for everything. PS Re the I identify with question. I don't identify as female. I am female.

Dr Nandy immediately made me feel comfortable. I felt completely at ease with her, she explained my condition clearly and outlined the different procedures once we have a result from the MRI scan. Dr Nandy was very prompt in ensuring that all test are done immediately so that she can urgently carry out my treatment. I request that I would prefer to be continuously be treated by her as I completely trust and feel safe with her. Dr Nandy also took the time to explain how the board of Professional clinicians address patients conditions and best form of treatments to move forward. I feel am certainly in the best care at Guy's with Dr Nandy and have complete confidence that I my treatment will be successful. Amongst all the ongoing pressures and problems and lack of funding our beloved NHS is undergoing, we are still getting World Class healthcare, thanks to Professionals like Dr Nandy. Big Thanks

I saw Dr Nandy at Guy's Colposcopy Clinic, my issues were complicated but she took the time to talk through my options. I am so grateful to her for her understanding and for taking a holistic approach which has totally put my mind at ease.

Doctor Tilottama Nandy treated me in the colposcopy clinic at the Guy's hospital on 26/7/23. I was 3 months pregnant at the time, she was professional, sensitive, kind and patient. She took extra time to make sure I felt very comfortable and cared for.

Treated in the colposcopy clinic with loop diathermy, not the nicest procedure to have done but Dr was factual and to the point about what she was seeing and what my options were. Afterwards she was clear about aftercare, follow up, and who to contact for further info.
