We saw Dr Rees for a follow up appointment with our 7 year old daughter at GOSH. Our daughter was a little apprehensive meeting Dr Rees for the first time but Dr Rees's excellent manner and ability to make her feel comfortable made the appointment as pleasant as these possibly can be. As well as being extremely thorough we found Dr Rees to be clear in her instructions to us and the ongoing plans for monitoring the condition.

Dr Rees answered all our questions, but also managed to help us to think through whether or not surgery is the right option for our son at present. I feel much happier that we have made the right decision for him and understand more clearly the process which we will need to go through once we do decide to have surgery. She listened to our concerns around tests that he will have to have, and contacted us the next day by phone to update us after speaking to the consultant.
