My aunt was almost losing her eyesight and was told there was close to nothing that could be done for her. Someone said something about Dr Zia Carrim and we booked an appointment for her. We felt like a surge of hope and positive energy after the 1st visit, he concluded that the eye sight can be restored with surgery. Dr Zia is a much needed surgeon for Mauritius, it is indeed a blessing to have him working back home as opposed to working in a 1st world country where he would have reached the pinnacle of his profession. Surgery for my aunt, who is 83 by the way, went like a breeze. As from the next day she started seeing better than before and the rest is history. Thank you very much Dr Carrim, you indeed are an asset for our tiny country.

A Doctor, like Dr. Zia Carrim is a blessing for Mauritius. He is a great professional. To me, his advices and recommendations are sacred. Actually, as far as my eyes are concerned, I will stay with this doctor for the rest of my life. He does not instill fear in you and above all, he shows the diagnosis backed with facts, figures, graphs, pictures, statistics etc. At a certain point, after your scan is over, and the result appears on the screen, you already know what to expect. This is total transparency. Around two years ago, I had already lost around 70 percent of my right eyesight. I was even expecting to lose my sight completely and I told him about it. He assured me that this would not be the case. After around let's say 8 visits, I can say I have recovered my normal eyesight. The EYE CLINIC of Dr. Carrim is a high tech clinic. You no longer have to go abroad for scan, laser surgery etc. All is done at this clinic. This Doctor has invested massively in state of the art technology, and I am privileged to be his patient. Whoever you are, if you are lucky enough to get an appointment quickly at his clinic, you will be highly impressed. Dr. Carrim does not need anybody's recommendation as he is already very well solicited both here and abroad. He is an ex -laureate, he has consultancy in UK, he is a visiting lecturer for the most reputed, universities in the world and to conclude, I he is a great Mauritian professional who makes our nation proud.
